When the fashion month ends, the French fashion tech community takes over! With the Fashion Tech Week starting tonight and the Fashion Tech Days coming up next week, there are some great events coming up.

The Fashion Tech Week

// From October 12th to 20th in Paris

Starting tonight, the Fashion Tech Week was originally created by passionate girl bosses back in 2014. At the time, Lee Anderson, Alice Gras, Julie Delaude & Maud Etienne imagined an event to gather the pioneers and early fashion tech enthusiasts. Since then, the event has gained in visibility and content, to offer you the best of the French innovation applied to fashion. This season, the event is in partnership with Avantex – Messe Frankfurt France, Lectra and the La Fédération de PAP Féminin.

Is customer data, the New black ? – October 12th, ESCP-Europe

This edition will start tonight at ESCP-Europe, as part of its Fashion Technology pulpit in collaboration with Lectra. With speakers from Amazon, Lectra, EasySize and EvoPricing, the panel will discuss around the main challenges of data in fashion. You can register here, and learn more about the event here.

Youngsters hackathon – October 15th, 42 Coding School

This Sunday, we will have the pleasure to participate in the hackathon organized by Startup for Kids. Kids and students will be welcomed to imagine the future of fashion and luxury with mentors from Louis Vuitton, IFM and more. We will be participating in the introduction panel talk, and help out the young teams throughout the day. Register here!

On Monday evening, the Fashion Pitch Night will welcome fashion startups to pitch their ideas in front of a jury composed of ESCP Fashion Technology pulpit, Lagardère Active and Worth Partnership Project. You can register here.

In partnership with LISAA fashion school and La Sorbonne’s GEMode study group, the speakers will discuss technology’s compatibility with durability and luxury. More about the event here.

Fashion Tech Expo – October 19th, IFM Paris

For every edition of the FTW, La Fashiontech Association, Hall Couture and its agency StudIOTech organize an exhibition to showcase the up and coming talents of the community. This season, the creations will be shown at the Cité de la Mode et du Design. Register and learn more here.

Hackamode – October 20th, La Fabrique Paris & CETI Roubaix

To close the week, open and inspired by the Fashion Tech Days, the Hackamode will welcome curious and creative minds within the La Fabrique fashion school. Thanks to its innovation lab and wide ateliers, the fashion school will host the Paris event, featuring Nelly Rodi herself as jury lead, when the CETI (European Center for Textile Innovation) will host the Roubaix event.

For Paris, you can register here; and for Roubaix it’s here.

The Fashion Tech Days

// On 19th & 20th October in Roubaix and Lyon

Right after the FTW, the Fashion Tech Days are a B2B event created and organized by Annick Jehanne in Roubaix. Started in 2015, the event happens to be the first one where I started public speaking.

For this edition, Annick and her team prepared some big surprises! Starting with the event scaling up in comparison to its previous editions: with sponsoring partners such as DEFI France, Société Générale or brands from the Beaumanoir group involved, the event will welcome a selection of 60 startups, keynotes, panel talks, startup pitches, the original Hackamode and other prizes will be happening between these two days dedicated to innovation.

Dedicated to Human at the center of innovation, this new edition is a not missable event if you want to learn more and meet the innovators behind French fashiontech.  More information & registration here.

Last, but not least, this season, the Fashion Tech Days will also be in Lyon! More info here ;-)
