Paris 3D PRINTING, THE FACTORY OF THE FUTURE – exhibition april 1st to july 9th
Paris’ Le Lieu du Design presents its exhibition “3D Printing, the Factory of the Future“. This first French exhibition on additive manufacturing will be showcasing the industrial, economical, creative and societal stakes through 3D printed pieces in the fields of design, architecture, fashion, health, research and food.
Performed for the wider public as well as for professionals, the exhibition showcases how this new production mode will be disrupting our lifestyles and consumption modes. The exhibition will be showcasing pieces from Anouk Wipprecht, Danit Peleg and Kinematic.
LONDON FASHTECH SUMMIT – 13-15 april

PARIS SMART FASHION WEEK, dedicated to sustainable fashion – april 18-24
A Fashion Week dedicated to sustainable fashion in Paris? Yes. From April 18th to 24th, events will be opened to the wider public to help sensitize consumers to a more sustainable fashion industry. Seoul CONDÉ NAST FUTURE OF LUXURY conference – April 20-21
Launched in 2015 in Florence, the Condé Nast International Luxury Conference is a unique event from the most exciting and influential multimedia company in the world. The conference draws on the collective influence of Condé Nast International’s publications, and the vision and knowledge of the world’s most renowned fashion journalist, Suzy Menkes, International Vogue Editor.
The conference includes a formal on-stage programme of creative and business speakers, as well as social events of the highest calibre, enabling attendees to make the most of their time through learning, participating and expanding their network. The 2016 edition will focus on the future of luxury, and the role of Northeast Asia as a new hub for fashion.
The Hyères International Fashion & Photography Festival will be presenting during 5 days runway shows from ten selected young designers amongst the most creative ones of the international scene. Amongst them, our friend Clara Daguin will be showcasing her innovative fashion pieces during the show (picture above this article)! It will be followed by professional conferences, showroom and an exhibition at the Villa Noailles. MAKER FAIRE PARIS x HUBMODE & LA FASHIONTECH – April 30th & may 1st
Part science fair, part county fair, and part something entirely new, Maker Faire is an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, authors, artists, students, and commercial exhibitors. All of these “makers” come to Maker Faire to show what they have made and to share what they have learned. This year, for the Parisian edition, our friends at Hubmode will be holding a stand in collaboration with La FashionTech Federation. Be sure to come say hi!
