DIY | French Blogger ElsaMuse x Louis Antoinette unveil their DIY capsule collection

I met the founders of Louis Antoinette during an event dedicated to innovation in fashion a few months ago. Their concept is really cool for creative girls who want to try and do their garments by themselves, without having to be a fashion designer. They just unveiled their very cool capsule collection in collaboration with French Blogger ElsaMuse!

Louis Antoinette is a clothing and accessories brand offering you to sew your own garments. Each of their garments come in a “DIY version” with the sewing pattern and its fabric, or pattern only if you want to chose your own fabric, or in a ready-to-wear version if you just want to wear it. Founded by Romain, Floriane and Julien, the brand came to life after Romain realised young people were interested into sewing courses too, and it was not only your grandmother’s hobby. A beautiful startup story that convinced ElsaMuse, famous French Blogger, to collaborate for a capsule collection with them.

The shirt comes with 3 options of collars, depending on how fashionably daring you are :)

For a piece like this shirt, I (as a beginner) chose the safe option and got it sewed by a professional seamstress of the Louis Antoinette network.

But for the pants, I chose the adventure! Stay tuned, I’ll be posting news about it soon (I hope) to keep you updated on this new experience (last time I sew I was at primary school). Wish me luck!
