Cicret bracelet turns your arm into your new tablet

Part of the Cicret project featuring an app to secure your messages from being traceable, the Cicret Bracelet recently popped up on several blogs. The team behind it is still running its funding campaign about what should be an amazing wearable bracelet enabling you to project a touch-controlled screen right onto your arm. Future is now!

Similar to the Neclumi project featured on the blog recently, the Cicret uses a pico projector to put your smartphone’s screen right onto your arm. It also features a Bluetooth chip that connects to your smartphone. When you move your arm, eight proximity sensors activate to detect your finger position so as to feedback controls. Meaning you can use your smartphone without even having to take it, its screen is on your arm while the smartphone itself stays on the table, in your pocket or wherever place nearby. It is also waterproof, as you can see in the video below, you can use it in your bath! It also features the classic technology of connected bracelets: own processor, gyroscope, accelerometer, 32 or 16Go storage, Wi-Fi… I still wonder how long the battery will run?

Last but not least, this new object comes from the French Tech! The final product should sell for around $600 to $700. The only thing I have left to say: hope this project will be market, so that it can be improved on the design part which is not quite what I would wear as a bracelet, connected or not…
